Diet Coke & Mentos
The Birth of Elana&&Koko
One day after school, we went to a deli, and bought a bottle of diet coke and a roll of mentos.
We dropped a couple mentos in the diet coke, closed the cover, shook the bottle, and stood back.
The coke spurted out of the closed cover and the sides & it was SO amazing.

- common sense to stand back
- lots of open space
Procedure:
- Poke a hole in the cap with a pen / pin
- Insert about 2 - 5 mentos all at once
- QUICKLY close the cap tight
- Place the bottle on the ground standing up
-Stand back and watch in awe and wonderment.
After that, we decided our experiment's results were so extraordinary, we wanted a fun way to share this with you!
